A key issue in many divorce matters

The value at the date of marriage may be just as important as the value today.

Principal Appraiser Tammy Heeber has extensive experience providing retrospective appraisals as of the date of marriage, current market value appraisals, and assignments requiring opinions of value at both effective dates.

These independent, well-supported values provide attorneys and homeowners with documented valuation evidence for their legal and financial analysis. The appraisal develops the value; legal counsel determines how that value is used in the divorce.

Then

Date-of-marriage appraisal

A retrospective opinion of market value as of the marriage date, developed from market information relevant to that time.

Today

Current-value appraisal

An independent opinion of the property's market value as of a current effective date.
